I've been shopping! {Estate Sale Finds Ed. 2}

There were so many wonderful finds, this week, at the estates.  I ran out of money and had to leave behind a beautiful Bible, from the 1800's, which I am still thinking about.  But, it wasn't meant to be and that happens all the time.  You start realizing that it's ok and you will see another wonderful item, soon!

Here are just a few things I snatched, this Thursday.  They'll start popping up in the shop, shortly {most of them, anyways}.  If you have your eye on anything in particular, leave a comment and I'll send you a love note when I list it!

I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
{Did you find anything good at the sales?}

    1. They are even better in person, I tell ya!

  2. Oh those New Years hats are too adorable!! Congrats on the finds!

    1. Weren't they great? I just love that they saved them for over 30 years. Something that we would be so quick to toss, but they were saved, in a closet. I love that kind of thing!

  3. What fantastic finds, I especially like the stitchery. Whenever I see large secondhand ones like that, I cannot help but think of all the hours upon hours that someone loving put into them, and always hope (as this one definitely did) that they end up going to a great second (or third, etc) home.

    Thank you very much for you comment on my 1940s dress post today, sweet gal. My little tattoo (which so, so needs to be retouched because it was never quite as solid as it could have been and has faded a bit over the years), is my one and only. I got it as a teenager in the wake of getting out of an extremely abusive relationship. It symbolized so much then and was proof, in a roundabout way, that I'd survived (because I was alive to feel the needle on my skin and because I was free to do with my body what I pleased). The word (poet) is because I've always written poetry and really felt that my writing helped to define me at the time (come to think of it, it still does).
