Each time I post a picture, on Instagram, of this little promise box, it elicits a response.


Partially because people are nostalgic and there was once a time when these appeared on most kitchen tables.
But mostly {I like to think}, because the truths are simple, pure and perfect.

Each day you are reminded, from the Bible itself, that God is merciful....
Good.
Kind.
Generous.
Jealous.
Beautiful

Our Savior.

I love my "Our Daily Bread Promise Box" and I've had ours for years.
It means a great deal to me and I love that the corners of the small pieces are bent.  Some torn and most stained.
I love that it reminds me of my childhood and I love that someday it will remind my girls, of theirs.

Many of you have said that you would like one, so I ordered one and I'd like to give it away.
The makers of this treasure aren't giving me money to write this post or a free "loaf".
I just want you to be as happy as I am, when you pull out one of the cards and it speaks to you, that day.
